Equipment Rental
When an individual has made the decision to enroll in an Open Water Scuba course hopefully by that point they have already completed all of their investigations into items such as cost, friendly and knowledgeable staff, training organization affiliation, equipment manufacturers represented and are now ready to make their decision on where to take their training. Of course if you need help with any of these decisions Aqua Immersion would be glad to spend as much time as necessary to answer any of your questions.
At Aqua Immersion we do represent some of the world’s largest training organizations such as PADI who certifies over fifty percent of the worlds divers, SDI, and TDI as well as the top two equipment manufactures; Aqua Lung and Scuba Pro. We do have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff and all at a very competitive price.
However, all that aside probably one of the most overlooked and very important areas for consideration is the rental gear you will be using during your training. Nothing contributes more to your SAFETY and enjoyment of this sport during your training than the rental gear you will be using. This is why we request that you own or purchase your mask, fins, snorkel, and boots. These are considered personal gear and need to fit and function properly for each individual. From there we will provide all the rest of your necessary equipment from our very well stocked rental department. We use the very latest in gear technology such as integrated air sources on our B/C’s, integrated weight pockets on our B/C’s, and computers on our regulator systems. We will even teach you how to use the computer during your academic sessions so that you will be able to use and collect information from the computer during the open water dive phase of the program. We feature the top two equipment manufactures in the industry in our rental department and carry full size ranges so you will be guaranteed gear that fits and works properly for you. We also keep our rental gear sanitized, serviced, and rotated with new gear on a regular basis so you won’t be wearing gear that looks like it belongs in an antique shop.
Although we encourage divers to own their own gear as soon as possible we do realize that a certain percentage of the divers will choose to continue to rent gear after becoming certified and this is just another reason we feel a properly maintained rental department is important. Your SAFETY and enjoyment is our number one priority.
So before you commit to take your training at a particular location complete your investigation into all the areas previously discussed, go in for a tour of the facility so you can make an informed decision on where to take your training.
