I was NAUI OW certified in '07 through Ohio University's Outdoor Pursuits. I have been into the shop a couple times and really like it there. I really like the Dive Rite corner. Wanted to join the group to meet new people to dive locally with. Brian, Reynoldsburg
If you are a diver or looking to get certified you have to go to Aqua Immersion in Columbus. I have been to other dive stores in Columbus where the building is nice and thats it, the staff was rude and the prices are expensive - I was skeptical about dive shops in Columbus. Not at Aqua Immersion though - the staff is great. I talked with Melissa about getting my kids certified and she was GREAT!! Very informative and very nice. The store was clean, they have a large selection of products to buy from and the prices are great, the rental equipment is in excellent condition and the fill station is top of the line. My husband is into technical diving and was very impressed with their ability to do trimix fills. Now he is talking rebreathers. My kids got certified there and their instructor Joe was very patient and very thorough. Unlike my experience of getting in and out of the quarry in less than 20 minutes and your done - my kids got to dive for several hours. They loved it! Thanks Aqua Immersion for opening your store!!! If you're not diving with Aqua Immersion you are missing out on sharing an experience of a lifetime with a diveshop who truly is in the business to share their knowledge and to make us better divers.
